Join the discussion –  “Implementation of the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation in a global organisation”

We are delighted to inform you that the second event of the ECS Working Group on Competition will take place on 23 May 2024, at 5:00 pm at the headquarters of Holcim in Zug (Grafenauweg 10, 6300 Zug)

Our distinguished speakers will be Lenka Abelovska, Group Head of Competition Law at Holcim and Marco Lo Bue, Senior Legal Counsel Competition Law at Holcim

The topic of the event will be: “Implementation of the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation in a global organisation”

A few words on the topic: As of October 2023, the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation introduced some reporting obligations in the context of larger M&A transactions and public tenders. In response, Holcim’s team has developed and ran its first global screening exercise to be prepared for the eventuality of a triggering notification event. The FSR topic has been hotly debated among competition lawyers during 2023, but few practical experiences have been shared thus far. In the absence of detailed guidance from the EC on this topic, the presentation from the Holcim team aims to offer some helpful tips to in-house practitioners and encourage the exchange of experiences from other companies & law firms.

Join us for an open discussion on Holcim’s experience, to share lessons learned and best practices. The event will be followed by networking drinks, kindly offered by Holcim.

Please register by 17 May 2024.
