Co-Chair WG Competition LawMonique Sturny is a partner at Walder Wyss Ltd., one of Switzerland’s leading law firms. She advises companies on all aspects of competition law, distribution law and contract law matters. She has written a doctoral thesis on the influence of EU competition law on Swiss competition law at the University of Berne. In 2020, the Swiss Competition Commission appointed her as Non-Governmental Advisor (NGA) to the International Competition Network (ICN) for the coming three years. Monique is a co-founder and board member of W@CompetitionCH, a network connecting female competition law professionals in Switzerland. She co-chairs the Schulthess Juristische Medien Ltd.’s conference on competition law and is a co-editor of the Swiss Journal for Competition Law. Monique Sturny is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and is admitted to practice in all of Switzerland.
