New Global Business Ethics Survey Published
The Ethics and Compliance Initiative (ECI), a membership association and research institution in the area of ethics and compliance, has released its latest Global Business Ethics Survey Report (hereinafter “GBES”). GBES is a longitudinal study on workplace behaviour, delivering data behind E&C trends covering 20 years for the U.S. and since 2015 globally. The whitepaper includes a look at trends facing E&C such as culture strength, retaliation, pressure, misconduct and more. The report also includes new data on COVID-19 and its effect on the workplace over the last year.
The report has determined five different trends: i) the ethical culture strength remains high while ii) the pressure to compromise standards would be the highest it has ever been. At the same time, iii) the observed misconduct – while steady – is inching upwards, iv) more employees are reporting misconduct and v) retaliation rates would have skyrocketed.
It’s possible to download the GBES directly on ECI’s webpage.
