Measuring effectiveness of anti-corruption programmes in the healthcare sector
The health sector is vulnerable to compliance risks because of the complexity of its value chain and the size of the financial flows in the sector. Under a mandate from Norges Bank Investment Management, the Basel Institute on Governance has facilitated the development of a set of indicators that healthcare companies may wish to consider when reporting on the effectiveness of their anti-corruption efforts to external stakeholders in order to build trust with stakeholders, to mitigate reputational risk and to identify best practices.
