ICC and WHO launch worldwide business survey to improve COVID-19 information flows

The International Chamber of Commerce (“ICC”) and the World Health Organisation (“WHO”) have launched a worldwide survey to report challenges faced by the private sector because of COVID-19.

The major survey of the private sector aims to gather more information on how business is responding to the pandemic and to help identify solutions to prevent its spread. Therefore, the survey shall provide reliable COVID-19-related information to the private sector and develop trusted guidance for business communities around the world.

The ICC-WHO survey shall improve information flows between different sectors of the global economy and develop a framework for managing the economic and human consequences related to the pandemic. This survey shall help to map best practices and to understand better where ICC, WHO and national health authorities should focus their attention. The information generated by the survey shall help these organisations to mount an effective response, saving lives and to minimise economic damage.

To aid this collective effort, ICC will regularly send updated advice so that businesses everywhere can take informed and effective action to protect their workers, customers and local communities.

This survey takes three minutes, is available in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish and will be open until 31 May inclusive.
