Corruption, Human Rights, And Compliance: Understanding Private Security Supply Chains
Join the discussion: Corruption, Human Rights, And Compliance: Understanding Private Security Supply Chains on 28 November at 17:00h in Zurich
What connects corruption, human rights and private security contracting? Seldom seen as an integral part of business operations, the use of private security is nevertheless ubiquitous across all industries. Whether securing sites or personnel, private security is everywhere. Despite the high risks of corruption and human rights abuse associated with contracting private security providers, compliance teams often lack understanding of the reputational, financial, legal and operational threats posed to companies that contract security services. The session will paint the landscape of security contracting, highlight the pitfalls and introduce risk mitigation measures and compliance solutions for companies with security contractors in their supply chains.
