The topic of the launch event will be: “Competition Law Compliance and ISO 37301 – How Integrating Competition Law in a Compliance Management System can look like”.
Location: Walder Wyss AG , Seefeldstrasse 123, in Zurich
When: 18 January 2024 at 17:00h
Speaker: Dr. Karin Amberg, M.A., Senior Legal Counsel, Compliance Officer Competition Law at SBB.
A few words on the topic: SBB started to systematically align its compliance activities with the requirements of ISO 37301 a few years ago. In addition to the implementation of a compliance management system at the level of the Compliance Office, this also includes the management of specific compliance areas such as competition law according to the ISO standard. Karin Amberg will report how this was achieved in competition law, what challenges she faced as an in-house counsel and where support from external lawyers is useful.
Join us for an open discussion on SBB’s experience, to share lessons learned and best practices. The event will be followed by a drinks reception to celebrate the launch of the ECS Competition Law working group.
Do you have questions on the ECS Working Group on Competition Law? want to suggest topics for future events or volunteer as a speaker? Please contact the Co-Chairs of the Group: Amalia Athanasiadou and Monique Sturny, we will be delighted to hear from you!
